Some tips for safe operation of electric forklift

Loading

(1) Move slowly when loading and unloading goods;

(2) It must be confirmed that the vehicle is in place when loading goods to the freight vehicle,

(3) The weight of goods shall not exceed the load capacity of forklift; When the goods are lifted or lowered, the initial speed should not be too fast;

(4) No one should stand under the fork when it is lifted.

Moving

(1) The forks shall be fully inserted under the goods, so that the goods are evenly distributed on the forks to avoid partial load;

(2) Make sure the goods that are fixed.

(3) If the loaded goods block the sight, it should drive backwards;

(4) When carrying wide goods, the aisle must be unblocked, and sufficient distance should be reserved from the shelves, buildings and equipment on both sides;

(5) The operator should pay attention to any obstacles on the top of your head, such as pipes, beams, cables, fire sprinklers, lamps, supporting structures, etc.

(6) The fork should be lowered in transportation of goods.

(7) Driving or turning is not allowed when the mast is tilted back or lifted.

(8) Slow down when turning to prevent the forklift from overturning and sound the horn.

(9) Smooth braking is preferred when the forklift is running with load.

(10) When driving on a ramp, drive forward on the uphill and backward on the downhill. Do not turn on the uphill or downhill. Do not load or unload when the forklift is driving downhill;

(11) It is strictly forbidden for the driver to extend body out of the forklift frame when the forklift is running;

(12) For high lift forklifts with lifting height more than 3m, attention should be paid to prevent goods falling.

(13) No one is allowed to stand on or under the fork frame in operation.

(14) When operation is ended, lower the fork to the ground, put the gear into the vacant position, cut off the power supply, pull the parking brake device when parking on the ramp, and cushion the wheels with wedges when parking for a long time.

(15) It is strictly forbidden to drive after drinking, smoke, talk with mobile phone or eat or chat while driving;
