Nowadays, Chengda group has dominated China mainland, Hong Kong and European and American markets. The production plant located in Dongguan city, with an investment of 500 million RMB and covered an area of more than 100000 square meters, is equipped with the most advanced production facilities from Europe and America, operates in a modern management mode, and already obtained ISO9001 (2000) quality management certificate and 《first-class qualification construction certificate of the people's Republic of China》

However, due to frequent failures of the forklift used by client, it is not competent for the company's material handling work, and the maintenance cost remains high; In this case, the customer decided to replace all the existing ten forklifts within two years;

At first, they tried to buy two forklifts for trial. If the effect is good, all forklifts of the same brand will be replaced in the next two years.

At present, the customer plans to use 10 TCM and Komatsu brand forklifts, and there is another 5 ton JAC brand forklift. The main working condition is to transport the plate-shaped wood from the warehouse to the production workshop, and load the finished goods into the container for export. On average, there are two shifts per day, the working time is about 10 hours, the handling of goods is less than 1 ton, and the handling distance is more than 300 meters.


After we got the information, the next step is to follow up the project. At the beginning, we didn't know which clue to start with. Firstly we found purchase manager and felt she was without much enthusiasm to talk with. At this time, we were confused. Moreover, the Toyota forklift was also involved at the time, one more competitor, makes it become much more difficult.

We made a analysis for our competitors.

The first one is TCM, client reported that this car was an original TCM forklift imported directly from Hong Kong, with a life of more than 10 years, but in the later stage, like Komatsu, the maintenance cost remained high. At present, the price of original models is not competitive, and the quality of domestic models can not keep up. The exhaust emission is very large, not friendly work in warehouse.


Second one if Komatsu, the client previously purchased Komatsu's fd200-12. This car is also imported with original packaging, with long service life and good use effect. But the fatal thing is that there are many problems after 2009, and the repair cost is expensive. The parts can not be supplied. High exhaust emission, not environmental protection.


The third one if Toyota, this is a strong competitor. Their Z series models are very competitive in price and brand awareness. In addition, Joe sir the trump salesman of Toyota and has rich experience in getting orders. Just now I lost an order for a Pallet Truck in Houjie Dongcai printing, the contract were given to the customers; however, Toyota won it, so I dare not take it lightly.
